Cusabi Sauce

Spread the love

Want a refreshing and versatile sauce for fish, chicken or veggies? Of course I have one, why else would I ask? I recreated a sauce I used to buy at a local fish market. It’s delicious.

What you’ll need:
A food processor or blender

Ingredients

3-4 Kirby cucumbers or 1 English cucumber
1 tube wasabi paste – the tube is 1.5 oz, so use some taste and repeat
1 cup sour cream
A squeeze of lime
Salt

Peel and seed (if using an English cucumber) the cucumber and cut it into chunks. Put the cucumber, wasabi paste, sour cream, a squeeze of lime and blend until smooth.

Taste for salt and refrigerate until ready to serve

Note – the tube that I used is 1.5 ounces. The sauce is nose clearing hot. Try the sauce with a quarter of the tube and taste and then adjust the amount according to your taste.
